I'm trying to think of a funny quip for you being a doctor now but I'm between a rock and a hard place.
Hopefully my electricity stays on. I enjoy central a/c and using my microwave.

Two huges trees blocked the entrance into my street.
Backho and a couple of chainsaws later, I was finally able to drive my car to my house.
Nearly had a pecan tree go through me and my neighbors house

let's just say that the trees took out the power pole lines in front of my street on Nicholson.
And since it's a private access street, I was told by the Councilman that helped us cut down and move the trees that Entergy told him we were last on the totem pole as far as energy restoration goes.
Everything on both of the poles needs to be replaced...

Mine has been off since this morning. House across street and neighbor on my right have no power but everyone else on the street has power. Tree across street fell on power line that leads to a power pole in front if my house. Says midnight to be turned on hopefully

I got a laugh out of East Baton Rouge calling around 10:30.. about 45 minutes after the worst.. about the tornado warning and to seek shelter. Our government at work. I guess I paid for that hour late warning call.
