Even the shitty ones think they do good work. It's only when called out on it, they realize it's garbage.

Before they even started, I told the current guy that I'm a stickler for perfection, and if it wasn't up to my standards, they'd be ripping up everything they did. They still botched it horribly, and got annoyed when I made them rip everything up.

If you know for a fact that I'm going to scrutinize your work, why on earth would you frick the job up? That makes zero sense
