I don’t even know what porridge is. The little rascals ate mush. Is that the same as porridge?
there's an old, old Gunsmoke episode where Doc goes into the cafe and orders... Mush?

1. What is/was mush?

2. Is it the sort of thing a doctor would order? OK, I get that a frontier doctor would often get paid off in bushels of wheat etc and would sometimes be cash-poor. Even so, would he still go into a cafe and order mush?

I'd eat bacon and eggs anytime of day..

I've never ordered off of the lunch/dinner menu at Cracker Barrel. Doesn't matter what time of day it is. I'm getting sausage, eggs, hashbrown casserole, and biscuits and gravy.

They eat baked beans in England. And all kinds of shite.

I eat bacon and eggs for dinner often. And I’m not afraid to eat beef stew at 10:00 am.
