My parents live in midtown. PNS is only about 10 minutes longer in drive time to their home...especially if I'm trying to navigate Airport Blvd. in the afternoon/evening. I know for a while they had talked about building an airport around the Loxley exit, but that was before Pensacola put a good bit of money into their airport.

Also usually cheaper to fly out of Pensacola, and have had much better luck with non stops
