So now you're recommending that my son pay for insurance but not file a claim in an accident. You're brilliance is stunning. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcool.gif)

No I recommend you just pay this because you can, so no one will have headaches. Sort of a joke about you being able to afford anything. What I really recommend is letting your son handle it, and not come here for advice.

I wasn't suggesting anything
Do you just try to make this fit your narrative or is that really how you interpret these posts?
I said you posted pics of the surgery and commented on the severity of the surgery. Is anything I posted incorrect?

Ok, I just checked my LTD policy. 8240.00 a month is what I can draw with my policy. You telling me I can start popping roxy's again, get me disability ruling. I can drive my Denali, wife drive her Tahoe, continue to travel soccer, live in a my home and the insurance company is just going to be ok with cutting my that check every month?

That's between you and your insurance company. But be assured that they will dissect every medical record you've had in your life with a fine tooth comb, probe every orifice, and follow you with private investigators before cutting that first check. Or any future check. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcool.gif)

Now i'm interested. What class do you consider the xj in? It sure as hell isn't classed with the five series or a Panamera.

Depends on your definition of routine. If you're saying that any neurosurgeon can perform it, of course it's routine. It's what they train for. If you're saying a C5-6-7 fusion on a patient with additional lesions at C2-3 will routinely relieve significant neck pain in a person who bends at the neck 40 hours/week, then you're 100% wrong.
Are you a surgeon, and if you are, what's your specialty?

The XJ falls in a class with the Audi A8, Panamera, BMW 7...all of which fall between the E & S Class.

Actually what I was saying is that surgery generally doesn't leave people disabled.
I also said that I wasn't aware of your specific condition since your job required you to look down for 2-3 hrs a day
Is your reading comprehension that bad or do you just cherry pick what you remember?

Are you people really this clueless about own occupation disability? One of the insurance agents SELLING disability is a disabled dentist who flies all around the country selling disability insurance and even plays golf. Jesus, you people are just clueless how the real world works. It's sad, really. Do you really think sitting in a car is the same as doing dentistry for 40 hours a week? Honestly, are you that stupid? I really want to
You're asking a bunch of college kids about legal advice, and they should know about occuption disability too?

Again, what is your specialty? And why would you even chime in with an opinion when you have no clue what the complete condition looks like? And the surgery doesn't leave people disabled - the condition it doesn't alter that necessitated the surgery in the first place does.

You're completely looking over what Finch is saying and just crafting arguments based on half truths. He explicitly said he didn't know your complete situation and that you having to look down could change things.

I'm not a doctor so I don't have a specialty
I chimed in with my opinion because this an internet message board and that's what they are for......
And because I was right

Yeah, if you read the title, I actually asked the attorneys who frequent the board. The jealous children are the ones who flooded the thread around the few serious responses.

There's no reason to wait to get an attorney. It's contengency fee so you don't come out of pocket. Get a good referral and not one of those advertising douches.
