Unless its a minimum limits policy with high medicals, no adjuster will disclose policy limits in Louisiana. Please advise your son to speak to an attorney.

Are you people really this clueless about own occupation disability? One of the insurance agents SELLING disability is a disabled dentist who flies all around the country selling disability insurance and even plays golf. Jesus, you people are just clueless how the real world works. It's sad, really. Do you really think sitting in a car is the same as doing dentistry for 40 hours a week? Honestly, are you that stupid? I really want to know.

Dentistry sounds like grueling work. Let your slutty hygienists do an hour of work just for you to pop in at the end for 5 minutes, make a couple of corny jokes and act like you did something.

There is no way you're an MD. No one this ignorant could get through medical school. In fact, if that's how you think dentistry works, there's no way you've ever been to one.
Seriously, do you have more teeth than fingers? Post your diploma.

Those occasional fillings must be tough to get through. And I'm in medical school right now.

You're so easy to troll. You'd think someone of your intellect would be able to spot disingenuous responses.

Two cars that differ by $20,000 are not in the same class. There is no single "luxury car" class. A Hyundai Genesis and a Bentley are not in the same class just because they are "luxury cars" - you people are hilarious. I remember being a college kid too.

Ahhhh. So you pose, I call you out for not having an MD, which you don't - and suddenly you were "trolling". Classic.

And you're talking about how much easier dentistry is, while dentists make the same money as physicians. Who's the stupid one?

Look back bud, I never posed. I said I will be laughing with an M.D. Never said I had one.

Look at the length of your threads and then the ratio of legit responses to trolls. Your threads go 5-6 pages and get a handful of legit responses because people troll you and you fall right into it.

He hinted way earlier in this thread he was in med school but you're too fricking stupid to use reading comprehension.

Talk to a lawyer. UM will cover any amounts over other guys policy up to its limits. A rotator cuff tear can get you a pretty decent award. (Also, you have one year to sue other driver, and two years to file against your UM. Definitely retain an attorney.

Right, because I come into every thread having no idea how you people will respond.
Every post I make throws you fools into a jealous rage, and every time I beat you right back down. It provides entertainment when I'm bored. And you will all continue to come back for more, because jealousy is a very strong emotion.
I can even pinpoint the thread that started it and led me to develop this persona.

I just want to know what's wrong with the guy? I self imposed my disability so I refused to use my policy, then this guy drive a 911, travels kung fu'ing all over the country. Maybe I need to rethink this disability deal.

That's the point, Moto. Jealousy isn't what fuels us, it's the fact you're a loser.

I'm pretty sure he's said before he injured discs in his back, which has made sitting all day on his arse doing nothing as a dentist unbearable.

Says the guy who will do nothing but listen to people and hand out prescriptions all day. If he makes it through school, that is.

He posted some post op pics of his 1 or 2 level ACDF which is one of the most routine spine surgeries there is.

It generally wouldn't produce a disability but I am not sure of his specific situation with having to look down for 2-3 hrs a day

Are you the doc that said it was so routine then identified the wrong vertebrae or was that someone else? And for the record, single level fusions had a success rate around 90% when I had mine done, whereas multilevel had a success rate of 65%. Mine was multilevel C5-6-7 with additional disc herniations at C2 and C3. And fusions - especially multilevel - put more stress on the other vertebrae. Likewise, any surgeon who knows what the hell they are doing will tell you "success" simply means "radiographic evidence of bone fusion." They will also tell you that, while fusions usually help alleviate radicular pain, they don't usually do shite for back or neck pain. Are you suggesting I should have jumped to a 5-level fusion instead of going on disability? And that's before addressing the disc tear and herniation at L4-5. If you are, I want to know where you got your medical license.

ETA: And if you can make a proper diagnosis from a cell phone photo of an x-ray held up to the light like I posted, I want you doing my next surgery because your abilities are unparalleled.
