Attic Insulation

I live in a one year old home that has blown in fiberglass insulation in the attic that is about 8-10 inches deep. I have recently had to work in the attic and some if it is now compressed and was thinking to add some more. Anyone have experience going with more than R30 in the attic and see any benefit?

More won't hurt. Make certain to keep your soffit ventilation clear and you should reap benefits.

You can go fluff it up with a rake
