Dude. Start another thread about your issues with the drug war in the US.

i dont think drug addicts should be sent to jail.....and i don't think this guy should either

It's a parallel. Many here cannot fathom how we could possibly prosecute and jail this poor man who caused death.

I'm asking why, when we clearly have no issues prolifically policing vice.

And for the last few pages that's all you keep bringing up. We get it. I don't think those with drug addictions should be in jail, either. They should be offered help and support.

What if he was doing drugs at home, and the baby was never harmed, but his illicit activity was discovered?

Would you say that could happen to anyone?

Why?

These are examples of negligence.

I'd bet both of my testicles he is never tried for Murder, unless they think, or have evidence that this was planned.

They arrested him for murder. Don't think the DA has charged him yet. And judging by his quotes, I think he's having a hard time deciding what he's going to do...

So why charge him with it? Why not book him for something lesser and investigate it up to murder if you deem it necessary?

Just seems really irresponsible in this age of information to have someone's name forever linked to murder in some form or fashion without having a legit case against him.

It appeals to a large demographic here.

Has anyone asked why the daycare didn't call when the kid wasn't there?

You know, I honestly don't care what legal penalties are brought upon this guy. Because honestly, he's going to be living in his own sentence for the rest of his life. I feel sorry for him and this whole story hurts my soul to even think about -especially being a parent of a 2 year old.

I can assure you I'd be taking my own life if I was such a fricking failure that I cooked my firstborn alive in a Hyundia, or whatever the frick that was.

All other accomplishment from that point forward becomes meaningless.

I'm late to this thread so sorry if this has been mentioned already but this made me think about a short story I read fairly recently. shite is scary to think about.

He probably will commit suicide, especially if he goes to prison.
