When they get a robot that can do the shite chores I don't want to do like cleaning and mowing my lawn then I am going to spend up to $20k to get one. Laundry, dishes, cleaning, yard work, etc. Heck they could probably program one to do light automotive work like changing oil and brakes.

30 years ago probably.

The die has been cast.

At some point in the not too distant future those things will be indistinguishable from human beings.

10 years? 20? Maybe 30. Doesn't really matter because it's coming and it's frightening.
