My SIL and FIL are a surgeon and NP who does robotic surgery and they both seem pretty confident that it’s not a big deal, but both recommend to do the biopsy to make sure.
Just ignore that kind of advice and list to what the OT has to say.

You are wayyyy too spun up about some images…Your issue is NOT an abnormal incidental asymptomatic image finding. Your issue is being unable to turn your brain off and continuously processing and rabbit holing every single perceived threat in your existence. Find you a sativa gummy for daytime and a cerebral Indica Hammer gummie for about 6pm at night…Thank me later.

I think we are missing the point here. I’m not worried at all about the thyroid nodule. What I’m worried about are the slowly enlarging lymph nodes.

AI does a better job than radiologist 9 out of 10 times

You'll do perfectly fine with only having a local anesthetic (lidocaine). Do not pursue sedation, it's more than you need and it'll be more time consuming and expensive. It's one of the least invasive and least risky procedures an interventional radiologist does, if that's who's doing the case. Worrying about it won't do you any good. Just get it sampled, get the results, and go from there. Good luck!

slowly enlarging lymph nodes.
I’m post thyroidectomy for cx and have had enlarged (change in size over time) lymph nodes biopsied and it was a nothingburger for me. All you can do it get the FNA and wait for pathology. No one here can help with that. But the procedure is cake.
