If a dates not working out, I'd rather the chick just tell me and offer to pay for her part. I'd respect her honesty and still pay for her and that would be that.

I had a first date at a bar/restaurant once and the chick got drunk, smoked half a pack of cigs, and then disappeared on me when I went to the restroom.
