Warriors breakfast lol.

The sergeant major from We Were Soldiers came and spoke to us while we ate. None of us knew who he was ( this was before the movie) and being exhausted, a few guys fell asleep. We got the dogshit smoked out of us for that.

Would have more confidence in her abilities if her name was Tammy Grace Boudreaux.

Should of drank some water lol. Sergeant Major Plumley was a bad man. I wish I could of met him but I probably would have pissed my pants as a young trainee.

You've got a better memory then me. Who was in the office late at night getting chewed out for stealing bread from the dumpster? Bishop (pronounced Bitch-up)? The sound of the bolt cutters bouncing off the floor are forever ingrained in my memory.

I actually ran into drill sgt Sharpless during EIB testing a few years later. Much friendlier then!

Yep. I didn't fall asleep ( never cared for holding up 5 gallon jugs in the back of class) but there's always a couple.

Might have been. I remember the boots getting tossed in a pile one afternoon, the gas-chamber, and that big corn-fed DS cadet and DS Shone sparring the day we did the pugil-stick training (they pitted that big guy from Georgia (Hammet?) against the smallest guy in the platoon with predictable results).

I almost remember nothing about the other platoons except when we all got smoked outside in the chow line. I remember one of the last smoke sessions in the barracks, seems we kept asking for it too.

I'm convinced I was asleep walking on a few of those ruck marches.

Have they lower the standard? If it is being kept the same and she is just as efficient then I have no problem with it.

I don't remember anything other than wondering how a 7 pound weapon could be so heavy, trying not to break my ankles in a hole, and "GET YOUR INTERVAL!! FIVE METER INTERVALS PEOPLE!".

Why wouldn't they lower the standard? It's happened literally every time.

The IDF has one battalion of glorified border guards. Not the best example.

Even after hooking it into the web gear and hoping the DS didn't notice.

11B - Harmony Church - Ft Benning - Spring of 1987

Before Sand Hill's air conditioned condo towers came fully online. I feel sorry for recruits that didn't get to experience WW2 era barracks for Basic and AIT, etc.. Hooah!
