We did this in our BDU's and ABU's while I was in the Air Force. I preferred to have my sleeves down because I thought it kept me cooler.

This subject is much ado about nothing.

It actually sounds like an Abe Simpson rant.

"When I was in the Army, we worn wool leggings on our arms, except we called them "armings" because we weren't in the Leggy we were in the Army, anywhoo, we were in Mexico looking for panchos to keep our arms dry because the monsoon had set in and Black Jack told us to drink the rainwater because, well now I forget why, but we could roll up our socks but not the leggings in the Army."

Nowhere, because any semi decently built male can't possibly do it because it's too damn tight on your arms.

Yes because there are no "semi decently built" males in the Marine Corp where they roll their sleeves.

Was just with two gentlemen from the South Korean army who had their sleeves rolled up.

They didn't seem to have any issues.

Call me old fashioned, but I'd like for us to go back to non-subdued rank on the patrol cap in garrison. Just makes it a lot easier to see who's coming your way.

Meh, don't care either way regarding the sleeves. We always had them up in garrison at Bragg, Jackson and Sill. Came to Lewis and never rolled them up again.

A yes. The massif shirt in multicam. That's what I was referencing too. We were issued them for Afghanistan only.

Look bro, you can suck all the marine corps dick you want, I have no problem with that. Just because they have the ability to do it though doesn't mean they all do.

We are allowed to roll our sleeves in the air force, and i'm in decent enough shape, but the sleeves strangle my arms if I attempt to do it.

It'll also make it easier for the spc and lt.col ranks.

I've been saluted a few times when I was a spc e-4

Wait, Army can't roll their sleeves presently? We used to roll ours all the time. We just had to do it where camo covered the roll.

I am actually ambivalent about rolled up sleeves.

I could give a shite and honestly it kinda pisses me off. Of all the broken and fricked up things in the Army (active, guard, reserve)you wonder if this is some type of distraction.

The Army is broken and we are discussing fashion? typical.

All Marines do it. it's part of the Marine Corps Order P1020.34G. Only time the sleeves are down is if you're in a field environment or seasonal uniform change.

There is no justification. I am lazy

I am too and when you rolled them you only had to press the very top of the sleeve.
