Albert Pike is the name. And the crazy thing is, Tuesday the area close to it, got 16 inches of rain in 24 hours from Barry.

Just went canoeing and camping down the buffalo for my bachelor party last month. The river kicked our arse. We had like 5 overturned canoes. It was kind of a shite show. We were all hungover and sleep deprived from a music festival the 3 days before. The river was moving fast and there were a lot of overturned trees. That didn't help either. Still had a good time, we just had to work a lot harder than than we wanted after partying our asses off for 3 days straight.

There’s a small playground, but that’s about it.

They have a nice water park with slides there. My kids enjoyed it. We'll go back soon.

If you don’t have a boat, then Shady Lake is a great place.

Thanks. It is actually the kids' idea they saw the sign on the way to Ft. Eustis a month ago and have been talking about going back.

I would rather go up to Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky.

White Oak Lake State Park is a great smaller lake , very quiet. Great for kayaking and fishing
