seriously doubt this is average. If you made only $60K, you'd never get approved for a $250K+ house and a $40K car, and if you did, it would be nearly impossible to pay for it. it's basically $3k a month for those two when you include insurance, electricity, water/sewer, phone, internet, etc.
I wasn’t making much more than that and got approved for a house that was 215k ten years ago. My note with insurance and taxes is now over 1500 a month. I’m a single parent one income household, and paying two car notes around $800 a month. I have a credit card with 16k on it. But I’ll pay it off this month so I won’t have to pay interest on it.
