I’ve probably do need to. I do have social time at CrossFit, hot yoga, and at the gym but that’s about it. Thinking about getting back into judo/jiu jitsu. Kids are getting older so there’s more time.

I bring my own reusable bags to buy groceries. Keep the plastic away, please.

I don’t have a choice in that matter. As of this year it’s the law.

I'm surprised Boston managed to hold out so long.

We buy $300 worth of groceries at a time. So we have to carry 35 reusable bags to the store with us? If that's the case, I'm changing from a F150 to a F250 just to increase my carbon footprint

You need to slum it a little. Bring yourself back down to earth. Volunteer in a shelter kitchen or in something else. The vast majority of people don’t have disposable income for hobbies or classes.

I do volunteer at the humane society here but you’re 100% correct. I should do shelter work, too.

Honestly it’s not a big deal. We just leave our bags in the car. If I ever walk to the store and forget one, it’s a whopping 5 cents a bag.

I don’t see why people gets upset about the idea of having to bring their own bags to the store.

I don’t see why people make a big deal out of it.
They've been banned here for a few years. It doesn't really bother me. I was just surprised Boston hadn't already done it.

I don't know if I'd consider myself a snob but I am definitely selective when it comes to footwear, watches, and sunglasses. I feel like these three things are prime examples of the saying "you get what you pay for." I am a believer in the fact that every man should own and wear a nice, quality timepiece and I wear a 44mm Rolex Deep Sea Dweller that was given to me by my Wife's parents as a wedding gift. As far as sunglasses go I wear polarized Rayban Wayfarers as everyday shades for driving, Oakley Flak 2.0's with Prizim polarized lenses while running, playing sports, or engaging in other outdoor activities such as going to the beach or hiking, and Polarized Costas with the glass 580 lenses while fishing. When it comes to footwear I only wear Nike or Adidas Ultra Boost for jogging on paved surfaces or working out at the gym and wear Salomon SpeedCross 4's for hiking, trail running, and other various outdoor activities. Finally, I prefer to wear only Johnston and Murphy when dress shoes are required.

My wife stops every day on her way home so we only need three or four bags. So not a big deal for us.

I'm a tire snob. I can handle the cheap version of just about everything else.

That's just how she likes to do it. It's not at my request or anything.

Next it will be straw ban. Then a sugar tax. After that, a non electric vehicle tax, a non smart home tax. Eventually you'll be paying 75% of your income in taxes and trying to figure out how you got there.

I didn’t mean that comment in reference to you specifically, just a general observation I’ve had since the bag ban.

A sugar tax would be a damn good idea. Soda tax, candy tax. Maybe that’ll help with obesity rates.

Yep. Let's tax everything. How about a single parent tax? Those frickers are the biggest drags on society
