Not the catholic ones.

But, being a rabbi and an accountant might mean access to great wealths. Imagine doing taxes and investment work for all those worshippers you look after as a rabbi. $$$$$

Land Surveying, and in particular cadastral surveying, is a noble profession; the PLS needs a deep skill set with technology in both the office and the field; as well as knowledge of math, art, archeology, history, astronomy, botany, dendrology, and paralegal knowledge, and also physical stamina and durability, love of adventure (because if you're not traversing your not making $, and traversing= seeing new things), people skills (because hell hath no fury like a pair of once-close brothers bitching over a 2 ft. strip of land), and being resilient and resourceful in often remote locations.

The boundaries of a man's property and his corners that bind them in place, and that they are to he honored and not to be moved, or else, is an ancient, sacred concept.

The surveyor being the one to give the professional, informed opinion on where those monuments are to be is also an ancient concept, and yet it's still critical to our every day lives and our right to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
