Are there any IRL stories of violent revenge on scammers and ID thieves?

As many of these people as there are and millions of scams, surely they pissed of the wrong person somewhere.

I’m wondering if anyone has ever tracked them down and beat or killed them.

I used to live in Russia. One of the biggest spammers in the world lived in Moscow and he was assasinated.

If you want to start a movement, I’m in. I have booze and tie wraps and a baseball bat.

Most of them are poor people in India getting paid literal pennies.

Going after what most people dub the "scammer" will do you absolutely no good at all. There are thousands more waiting in line to take their place. They have little to no employment opportunities where they are, and they will all line up for a steady paycheck, even if it involves fricking people.

The person who owns the scam business, who rents the building, who buys the equipment is the one you want.

Making one scammer disappear accomplishes nothing at all.

That's a dumb fricking argument...so let street corner drug dealers go??? Low level child trafficking minions who snatch up 9 year olds in a parking lot, just let them walk?

If you want an actual understanding of the scam market, deeper than the YouTubers who get the best of one every now and again, look up the YouTuber Pleasant Green.

He has gone more in depth in that world than anyone else I've seen. From India to Liberia, he's doing good work of showing why this is more than a black and white, single bad actor issue.

You may also learn a few tricks to protect yourself as well.

Sure, you can lock them up. That is if you can identify them, then get in touch with local authorities (because no US law enforcement agency is going to do anything), then convince them to actually do something. That rarely, if ever, happens. If/when it does, and even if an operation is shut down, it only takes a few days before they are back up and running in a new location with a new group of scammers.

There’s a couple YouTube channels I’ve recently found, Scammer Payback and Trilogy media, that have been collaborating on trying to confront the scammers in California after they get an address to send cash to instead of gift cards.

The problem is the trilogy media guys are fricking terrible at any kind of investigating and confronting so every time they confront someone nothing happens. They did confront one guy at his apartment in LA though.

Check out Pleasant Green. He has come to an entirely different approach. Watch his By D Grace of God series.

He's a Mormon (I think) from Utah, so...try not to hold that against him.
