I've had Sceptre TV's in my bedroom for years and they work just fine in that setting. Never had a single issue with them.

3 years ago, I bought 4 of 'em for the same price(and time) my brother paid for his Sony. All 4 of mine are still working, his Sony died this summer. I have two outside and one at a camp and one in my man cave. No problems at all. The pic may not be a crisp and clear as a Sony, but WGAF, unless you're a couch potato.
