Buddy had 6 ft of water. Lost everything, trying to see what we can save. He had black walnut cabinets will they be salvageable?

If they dry quick, I would think so. all the dry wall behind them obviously are going to be bad, going to be a PITA to disassemble and reassemble

had a friend with 2' of water and the adjuster went by yesterday and said to take them out.

6' of water is a lot and the sheetrock behind it, the toe kick space and the backs of the cabinets will be soaked with no way to dry them.

Don't take short cuts and don't be cheap when it come to black mold. Everything needs to removed in house. The house should look like a frame inside. Very important, spray the 2 by 6s with mold killing paint. If you can hire a company that will give you a mold free certificate that is even better. I seen too many people take short cuts. 6 months later, they notice black mold growing though sheet rock. They are back to square 1 again. Do the job right 1st time
