Several years ago they did make a smaller moon pie, like three inch diameter.

They still make them.

The Chattanooga Boy Scout Council sells the small ones instead of popcorn in the fall. They worked out a deal with Moon Pie to get a better cut of profits than what they got with popcorn. I rather give a donation than eat that shite though. They are terrible.

How many years does the Moon Pie have left before it's obsolete? I believe the last generation that ate them enough to gain an acquired taste were the boomers. I heard they became popular during the great depression when it was one of the cheaper snacks along with RC Cola as a soda.

You can still get a basic one topping large for around $10.

Yeah, maybe at Little Caesars.

The Moonpie minis are tolerable.

The Moonpie eating contest would be impossible.

Great summer snack. We'd be outside at my grandparents farm during the summer playing and swimming and grandma would have moon pies, boiled peanuts and Dr. Peppers for us.

I learned recently that there's a RC Cola-MoonPie Festival held in Bell Buckle, Tennessee every year. 10 mile and 5K races that morning as well. The next one is June 15th, 2024.

We went to that a couple of year ago. One thing you won't see.

Moon Pies.

I'm not even kidding. Everything but Moon Pies. I maybe saw two places that even had them for sale.

Moon Pies are a Chattanooga original.

We have the original Moon Pie Store

I was in there this past week.

That Looks like a Very good rebranding to recapture the you get generations, but they need to change up the product a little bit.
