Again, I didnt ban lobbying, it now has a mechanism for you to give money to whatever politician you think best fights for your personal ideas
You can already do that

Nope. They will have a staffer with INCREDIBLE research capabilities. This staffer will have no bias and won't need to talk to anybody on either side of the discussion to help himself make a decision.
ROFLMAO

A lobby is the worst way to do that. It's too tightly regulated.

You can talk, you can call him, you can hire lobbyists, etc. It is just more expensive than it currently is and the extra money goes to other people having monetary power in campaign finance to Express their opinion as well.

Again the mechanism is through campaign finance, not lobbying

Cool. Only the wealthy can afford it now.
Good job!

The idiot is arguing in favor of a complete fantasy.
There are literally zero humans who qualify for this amazing staffer position

Even remedial civics and introductory economics students will laugh at this.

No it doesn't, but whatever. If yall think the current system rocks, that is fine.
Most people seem to disagree these days. Trump won with the populist vote and "the swamp" - includes lobbyists

es, but these people are congressional staff - simply tasked with making sure the person they report go is informed when making decisons
So because they are employed by the government they have no bias? Bull shite. All they will do is enact more and more government.

It's more expensive which makes it more accessible!!!!

This idiot actually said that

I'm all for campaign finance reform, but that has nothing to do with lobby.
You and your neighbors don't have a right to have your issues heard?

The current system could suck entire arse and not be as incredibly horrible as what you've articulated!

No, every person has bias of course. The idea is that now people who are just pushing more big govt, etc. - aka most people currently in office - are.more easily voted out.

You do realize that while true, there's another lobbyists doing exactly the opposite, right?

Wait. You literally argued for an incredibly massive government. What do you think the number of staffers you're going to need to do all this research is?
