Are gun nuts just as annoying as vegans?

Folks on this board love shitting on vegans/crossfitters/atheists for being extremely vocal about their lifestyle. But, no one talks about gun nuts' ridiculous love affair with the 2nd Amendment.

I can tolerate either one to a point. Have known a few really scary gun nuts though. Avoided those guys.

The difference is that the government will never try to take the other lifestyles away and create a situation that you could get arrested for it. So, it creates an in your face attitude about it.

I own many guns and am thoroughly annoyed by the 2nd amendment thumpers that act like someone is outside their door right now and about to take their guns.
