My wife bought it for me so I have no idea what it cost, it sounds like a $700 or so watch
And yes I’d say it’s worth it. It’s very practical and functional for me because I’m always on the go
For someone that just sits around in an office or at a desk all day, I can see it not being practical

Why would a teenage girl need an Apple Watch? Is that a Laffayette thing?

The face cracks too easily then all you have is a $3-400 digital watch. Once the face cracks the keypad is useless.

Yes
And they're so ubiquitous among high level professionals that I wouldn't bother with a typical "what 1500 dollar watch should I buy" debate on here, just get an Apple Watch and save for a legit heirloom watch if you're still inclined to do so (which I have no objection to).
There are a ton of Breitling, Rolex and Panny watches collecting dust due to 350 dollar Apple watches these days.

My wife loves hers. I watched a guy at a rental equipment store have a complete meltdown when he spilled gasoline all over his Apple Watch. It was like watching a 5 year old drop an ice cream cone. I laughed in his face without remorse.

I just got one and I love it. Think about how many times you take your phone out of your pocket each day. Outside of calling or texting someone, I don’t ever need my phone.
Check the time, the weather, look who’s calling or texting. My company uses Slack, so I get all of my Slack messages and can see what is important and what is not. I like it a lot. Also tracks my activity, HR, etc.

Watch porn AND get your steps in at the same time? Worth it!

This has been the best and only reason cited in this thread for buying the watch.
