Anybody have it done laparoscopically? Recovery time? I hate missing work and laying in bed all day is for the birds. Wonder how long before I feel fully recovered.

Trying to remember mine...

I think regular activity resumed in a month but it took 2-3 to feel completely normal again.

Had it about a year ago. My appendix never really hurt, thought it was just a stomach ache but I remember being insanely nauseous for hours and hours before surgery.

I worked from home for a couple of days after. Maybe a week max then was back in the office fine. Just don’t lift big arse boxes or swing sledge hammers or anything crazy. I was fully released about a month after surgery.

Pretty much. Lay up for a couple days. Don't push it for a couple weeks.

I had mine back in the early 90s and the scar is only about 2" long. I missed about 10 days of work(light duty) and was back to normal in about a month.
