Yes. Processed food causes cancer.

bacon, sausage
Neither is necessarily some synthetic processed food. You can buy actual bacon and sausage, you know, cut out of an actual animal and made fresh. Not ground together from hooves and chemicals.

Give me cancer or give me death

True. But there are studies that show that meat, in general, causes cancer, especially pork.

Don't care; I would brush my teeth with bacon if it was socially acceptable.

I know those that smoked everyday of their lives and live to their 90's.
With all chemicals and food and other things out there everyone is exposed to cancer in some way or another. Pumping gas at the gas station through a lifetime is more of a chance to get cancer than eating foods.

Not as big of a risk as it's made out to be.

I doubt it, man.
Our food in this country is fricking TERRIBLE. It's criminal what the gov't lets us....no, ENCOURAGES us to eat. Most of it isn't even food at all and worse, they want us all to be addicted to the poison.
I think it's funny that even the most anti gov't people will just take the FDA at their word, but it seems to be changing.

Hopefully this will convince a lot of people to stop eating bacon and prices go down. More bacon for me !

yep
Eat pork belly instead. Tastes just as amazing but not processed.

I don't really get the "cult" of bacon. I like it just fine. But I think people act all giddy over it because pop culture tells them they're supposed to and it's trendy right now.

You'd like for our government to dictate what people can or can't eat?
That's a terrifying thought to me.

You know what your reward is for not getting cancer?
Probably Alzheimer's. It's all going to end at some point whether you want it to or not.

false, i love the way bacon tastes. that's the reason i eat it. Not because pop culture says i should.

No. I'm saying they already do dictate most of what's in our food.
