yeah BR, when I finish in august the case will be expunged, that is what pretrial is for.

Dude you're definitely misinformed. Once you finish pretrial, your case is dismissed. You have to wait 4 years to get the ARREST expunged.. Now if you get in more trouble, it may have some effect on getting the actual arrest off your record, but as far as your actual DWI case, that's sealed and done with. I'd check with your attorney and make sure you're on the same page.

except that people running background checks will still be able to see everything that you did. arrest/expungement everything.

Well this is news to me, good news at that. I just remember Crystal telling me that I had to wait 4 years for something or whatnot (I was kinda drunk at the time).
