It’s unreal how accurate the damn thing is. Virus out of China, (Hong Kong) caused by a bat. It’s scary. The virus even had a similar spread rate of around 3, but a mortality rate of 20%. (Thank God we don’t have that.)

Hopefully the social unrest isn’t as bad as it was in the movie too

It failed to predict the toilet paper shortage though.

Yeah they missed that one. (Lol) Really is a pretty good movie, wasn’t nearly as scary when I watched it years ago

How are your rolls holding up? The burn rate is much higher with everyone home all day.

I'd like to watch it again. Any idea where it is streaming?

We watched it a couple weeks ago.

Things mentioned in that movie:

- Social distancing
- R0 score
- Mask necessity
- Vaccine timeline
- bullshite treatments being spread by rumor online
- China being a nasty cesspool of viruses that come from bats and pigs and their shite

So basically it was exactly right, but the virus was worse.

Yep. Now that we’re living through a pandemic you realize how dramatized everything was. I rewatched it expecting it to be a scary reminder of the times, but wasn’t nearly as interested in it as the first time

it's actually an interesting discussion, b/c those types of quick/lethal viruses (and this one was based on Niphon) can't spread nearly as well as something like COVID-19. it makes Ebola look like a real bitch in comparison

GETTING ebola? incredibly scary shite

an ebola pandemic in the developed world? not likely

I would have run out a few days ago but was able to snag a 6 pack of jumbo rolls from Walmart. The last time I went they had some 9 packs. So I think I’m through the crisis.
