My feelings about RS was that I don't feel like spending a month trying to remember how to say specific words. Teach me basic sentences, and I'll fill in the rest

Duolingo could use some improvement. I am using it for French, and it automatically gave me a woman (the sex of the speaker is just randomly given to you, you can't choose it or change it). For French, she is almost impossible to understand. But, sometimes it will give me a male (only sometimes) and I can understand him perfectly.

People have complained about it on their Help section. I think people have trouble understanding the man who does their German tutorial.

One thing I do like about Duolingo is that, if you get something wrong, you can go to the comments section where people ask why and others will tell you where you went wrong. Usually, they will give you a link to the things I already recommended (pages on structure, nuances, conjugations, etc.).

Exactly.

I have been saying this about RS for years. Maybe I should pitch my idea and find some investors.

I would use Rosetta and find a French Canadian to talk to daily.
