Anyone try and return a new (certified) vehicle?

Will Cover?
I just got a Tacoma and after 2 days I think it's too small. It's a 2017 certified (6k miles). I think my best bet may be to find something else on the lot at the same dealer, but if I can return it I may do that.
Could be a little buyers remorse that will pass, but wanted to see if anyone has done this.

It's Texas, but yeah I saw the same thing. I will probably give the sales manager a call.

That's what I was thinking. There is a certified Tundra 2016 on the lot that I was looking at.

If you trade for something else on the lot, they will likely be ok with it....of course, you will owe money.
If you just want your money back, prepare for them to be pissed.

I bought a new Ford product and I heard an engine knock the next morning when I started the vehicle. The noise gradually got quieter when the engine warmed up. Wound up taking it into the dealership 3 times, the service dept. saying they couldn't hear anything wrong. I talked to a lawyer and he said Ford would not replace the car or rescind the sale.
I went back to the dealer and told them to fix the MFing car, left it at the service writer's desk and told him not to call me until they found the problem. It wound up being an loose wrist pin and they wanted to replace the piston. I told them I bought a new car and if they didn't put a new engine in the new car I was going to file suit. They ordered and installed a new engine.
Needless to say, that was the last fukkin Ford I will ever buy. Any other brand would have taken the car back and given me another car or returned my money instead of wasting 3 weeks trying to evade their responsibilities. Not Ford. Live and learn.

There is no cool down period in Louisiana. However if you bought on Saturday, there is a good chance that it is not funded through the bank. If you try to go back today they could probably get you out of it. If the bank books the deal it is no longer owned(financed) through the dealership, it is now yours.

from the link
quote:
Dealers are not required by law to give used car buyers a three-day right to cancel. The right to return the car in a few days for a refund exists only if the dealer grants this privilege to buyers. Dealers may describe the right to cancel as a “cooling-off” period, a money-back guarantee, or a “no questions asked” return policy. Before you purchase from a dealer, ask about the dealer’s return policy, get it in writing and read it carefully.
