The Sumerians wrote The Epic of Gilgamesh 1,500-2,000 years before Genesis was written. The similarities can’t be denied. Moses either plagiarized, or they both accepted the same story of creation

Why can't we have both?

The creation stories are from a time when that was the only way folks could understand the world. It amazes me that folks still believe in a garden of eden and all that jazz.

I think 95% of the Bible was appropriated from other cultures and religions.

Every civilization at that time had a creation story.

There’s two ways to interpret this: One, there is a God that manifests himself to people differently yet similarly just as us humans are.
Two: there is no creator in the heavens above us

I choose option one. Our world as an individuals and collectively is unique yet similar. It just makes more sense to me. I don’t go shaming other people whose beliefs are different than mine.

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then the HELL with you!

”Rib” was a bad translation. The newer translations are along the lines of “thing that protrudes” or his pecker.

No new info on who Adam was porking or if god used Adam as a sperm donor for his weird science experiment in creating a hot babe for Adam.

Lilith maybe?

If their tale were true, Conan might have actually existed and was an alien

Three: "God" is an alien ruler and Heaven is their home planet......

Who said you did go around and do that? Calm down, no one is shaming anyone here are they? Besides shaming me, which I can handle since I haven't been subjected to the pussification of America.

How so? Haven't we alone infested the Earth and continue to take more than we give?

We are supposedly a creation of god. The christian belief is that god is a perfect all knowing being. Why did he create a flawed species? if he is all knowing he knew what would happen in the garden of eden. Many point to Adam and Eve's disobedience in the garden to be the reason their is evil in the world now. God knew that they would rebel against him. If casting them out of the garden in to a world filled with struggle and evil was their punishment then he also punished all of their descendants for something they had nothing to do with. He put a indelible mark on our souls that baptism supposedly removes. Is god good? then why does he continue to allow evil when he has the power to stop it? This leads in to the whole free will argument. I'm still drunk from last night lol. Humans try to make excuses for their gods behavior. It's perfectly ok for their god to watch a child get raped or murdered without doing anything but they would condemn a person for doing the same exact thing.

I'm not assuming "god" is perfect because that's just one religion lol. Didn't "gods" in old religions like Greek mythology have flaws like desire and want? What if "god" really is just Zeus and he isn't the only other being the is "almighty" to us. Maybe Zeus wanted to have pets. Just like us, we don't have the dumbest animals as pets usually. The Garden of Eden was the play pen he kept them. Just like weird fricks out there, another "god", the devil, Satan, Hades, etc, came to frick with this guy's prized possession who seemed to have it all. Taught us freewill, and like an uncaged dog we went wild. shite for all we know he's been at work this entire time and just hasn't come home to see the house destroyed

Very much so but I think it's more likely that we have have visitors from our dimension than another, unless we are alone in this one.....
