Anyone Seen Or Experienced Any Fireworks Related Situations Yet?

About an hour ago I got home and down the road there were a few fire trucks, cop car and I guess volunteer firemen. It was at a corner house and there were vehicles and parked on both parts of the corner so I wasn't able to see what was going on, but there were people outside on the sidewalk looking upon the house.

I saw a guy who lives close by, walking back and I asked him what was going on. Evidently kids were shooting fireworks, one went under this older woman's carport in this empty flower bed that is made of brick. He between the dried up flowers and a few pieces of trash in there caught on fire. The woman hear the popping and being so close to her house, she looked out the window, saw the fire (which was a small fire that wasn't around anything else that could catch on fire, since it a brick flower bed), freaked out and called 911.

One of the kids parents was outside with them and quickly got over there and put out the fire so by the time everyone got there, there was no fire. Anyway, the woman was all worked up. Although there is an ordinance that doesn't allow people to shoot fireworks in the city limits, during the fourth of July weekend and between Christmas and NYE, they do not really enforce the law, but evidently the police gave the dad a ticket just to shut the woman up.

Not that exciting of a story.. I know.
