From a town where you have a connection? Not even a second thought to drive.
I live in a smaller town. So 45 min before flight to airport. Then an hour flight to hub. Hour layover. Then another hour at least flying.
Four or five hours to fly and I am subject to their schedule and being treated like a feeder calf. No thank you

quote:see, I am the opposite give me some desolate interstate and I am in. Make me not use cruise or navigate traffic, I hate it
Driving across the plains or Texas is a chore, but driving through mountain ranges is fun
All those miles behind the wheel in sales I suppose ruined it for me

I’m generally driving anything that’s 7-8 hours and generally drive to places that thaw 10-11 hours.
Airports are always having issues and by the time you drive and park at airport, check-in, blah blah blah, then on backend not having wheels, your better off driving and control your own destiny.
PLUS extra bonus, don’t have to deal with the communist TSA nazzi’s that have a badge and not afraid to ruin your week!

Drive from Gonzales to Miami about once a year. Once I get it in my head that it's gonna be awhile it doesn't bother me. It's always the last hour that kills me

I loathe the airport experience. There’s not a single thing about it that doesn’t suck fricking balls. The people, the parking, the check-in, the waiting, the waiting, the waiting, the overpriced everything while you’re waiting.
If there’s any conceivable way to drive it, I’m driving.
