I’d imagine Zyrtec didn’t cause it. Maybe everything you eat tastes like nothing.

No smell or taste is likely a thyroid problem. Can take medication for that.

I’ve taken Zyrtec for awhile and do not have this issue.

Edit: tried Flonase for a bit but it started making my nose bleed.

Taste is highly contingent upon smell.

I doubt the Zyrtec caused the loss of taste and smell. Likely these severe allergies of you're having are likely contributing to your current symptoms.

If you've had lots of nasal congestion/stuffy nose, difficulty breathing through nose, drainage in addition to the loss of smell/taste. Probably worth getting looked at. You may have polyps of other things that can be treated and get your symptoms better controlled.

I've taken it more or less everyday be for the past 5 years and never have I lost my sense of taste.

I'd ask your doctor for a different drug.

I take zyrtec all the time. And I like to eat. So I dont have any issues there.
