Go pick the plate up for him or call the dealership to see if they have it. Is this a used car purchased at an independent dealership? There are two different agencies that license the dealers and where he would get info from. Some of the independent dealers have more "issues" getting plate to customer. Like title being held by auction, auction didn't have title or funds are due and dealer doesn't have it. It's all a floating game. I worked for Agency that licensed independent dealers.
