I had a friend, now deceased as a result of alcohol abuse, who went on a job where he frequented the local strip club after work. Ended up married to one of the strippers after a long weekend bender. Marriage lasted slightly longer than the bender. I think he said it was the best 2 weeks of his life
He had a sense of humor about his bad choices. I'm still saddened by his demise, though it was nearly a decade ago. Probably the smartest guy I've ever known in terms of pure intellect, life choices, not so much.
He had a Bachelors degree in physics from the University of Florida and was working in a combined MS/PHD program at UF in Physics but abandoned it with just his final thesis and presentation left to do. Alcohol again.
But man did he like him some strippers. Ended up living with another one later until she drained his bank account, packed up anything valuable of his that she could carry and moved to parts unknown.
