Mines' tail pipes and vent lines are completely underwater does this thing have some safety measure from backing up into the house?

Truly a terrible company. Weren't they called out on the news a couple of years back for doing no maintenance on their systems? Then they increased everyone's bills on the premise of getting their shite working again?

Are you asking specifically about MoDad and your setup or a generic treatment system?

In theory, if your internal plumbing is higher than your external treatment tank then you should be ok unless you have a blockage upstream. YMMV.

My tail pipe stays under water when it rains. You should be ok unless you get a foot or two on top of tail line exit
