Anyone keeping up with the story of Julian Brown?

Guy that went "missing" because he was afraid that big oil was going to kill him.
He "invented" something called Plastoline, which takes used plastics and turns it into diesel fuel.
I don't pretend to know anything about this topic, but a lot of black people on social media are pissed when others point out that this technology has been around for a long time.
Mental illness, or a genius on the run from big oil?

Brown's most recent post on the platform was shared on July 9. "I can't go into too much detail, but there is some very, very odd stuff going on," Brown said in a video. "I'm certainly under attack right now."

His mom has already come forward and said he's fine
There is no net positive energy happening there. If it costs more in energy than it does to produce, then it’s pointless.
Also, this process has been known for a very long time. He didn't invent anything.
Also George Washington Carver did NOT invent peanut butter.

Also George Washington Carver did NOT invent peanut butter.
quote:
Peanut butter was actually invented before Carver's work with peanuts. Marcellus Gilmore Edson patented a process for milling roasted peanuts into a paste in 1884. John Harvey Kellogg then patented a process for making peanut butter from raw peanuts in 1895, marketing it as a nutritious food for those with chewing difficulties, several years before Carver's work with peanuts became widely known.

Is Fab from Milli Vanilli trying to resurface?

His claim, I think, is that he made it more efficient. But my limited understanding of this process is that it's very toxic.
