Anyone in south BR/ 70808 area still having major problems with USPS

Federal probe into Bennington Post Office
Seems like the ongoing federal probe hasn't helped much - have had multiple packages recently "out for delivery" that either the tracking info ceases or just gives me an alert that the packages have not been scanned for delivery. Given that they are clothes, I'd wager it's far more likely they were tossed or lost than stolen, but still fricking sucks.
a.) I don't know why I do not just pony up for FedEx or USPS for things I'd like on time
b.) How can anyone want the government in further control of their daily lives

Half of the time that packages make it to my complex, they are put in front of the wrong door. It's incredible how shitty the service is.

Sometimes my mail comes at 9 am, sometimes like 6 pm, sometimes not at all. Just got my water bill from December yesterday
