I'm an ARA for a local USAR unit, unlike the half-cocked bullshite you'll get from others here, someone like me will be the one handling your actual inprocessing to a unit and try to keep you from being too much of a frick up.

Just retired after 24 years in the Navy Reserve. Had it's ups and downs, but I got a lot out of it. Retired as a CPO.

RA and then California ARNG.
I am sure a lot of things changed since the 80’s and early 90’s.
I had the GI Bill plus other benefits which helped pay for my college degree.

Been in the Army Reserves since out the regular Army in 1993. Just put in my retirement paperwork.
