I havent personally dealt with either company but knew a few people who have. The consensus on King's Granite is not to expect much communication or adherence to deadlines. Heard nothing but good about KMG though.

I used them. Not a problem in the end, but it was tough to get them on the phone and my contractor had trouble getting them to confirm install dates. No problem with quality, though.

Used both King and Medeterrian Tile on a recent rennivation. Mario at MT is fantastic to work with, has highly skilled installers and would highly recommend. King is ok - the quality of the install was not as good - not bad just not great. Decent to work with - can be a bit slow to respond. MT was more expensive than King. Tried to save a few bucks but if I had to do it over, I would have paid more to let MT do the entire project. You get what you pay for.
