Any chance your apartment has any rooms available for rent for June?

If you're young and single then I would jump at it

I regret not doing something like that when I was young. Just move around and explore

My bro in law knew where he'd eventually be to settle down, so he and his now wife lived in 3 cities and then he got a badass promotion to the city he knew he wanted which was where family was. He got the job he wanted in the end and the place and got to live in Orlando, Houston, Denver

I have visited.

It's a great city.

Lots of good golf.

Ball flies a mile up there.

Cornerstone

They have a ton of properties in all parts of town. Let me know if any of them interest you and I can provide feedback on the location.

I live here.
Where is the office located? Lot's of info I can give depending on location. Decent public trans., buses/light rail can get you around from west (Golden) to downtown, south (Mineral line) and further (C line down I-25).

COL is probably higher than D-FW. As some have said, good locations will have bidding wars on houses for sale.

Kids? Wife? May also depend on where you want to settle.

Lots of things to do in Denver and surrounding area.

I am considering a move there myself. Just got a job offer. Not the best money as it's an entry level position but I have been out of work since October.

Any other information people could offer up would be great.

I live in Boulder but usually have to go to Denver once or twice a week. As others have said housing is expensive. I have a friend who is a realtor that there and she said the inventory of homes for sale is the lowest in years. Be prepared to make an offer on any home you're interested in.

That said Denver, and Colorado in general, is awesome. We moved here from Baton Rouge 3 years ago and the quality of life here is so much better. The traffic can be bad in Denver during rush hours, but it's manageable. Public transportation is pretty good and getting better. There is so much to do here, especially during the summer. Winters are nearly as bad as in the midwest or northeast and the sun is shining most of the time. If you like beer it's paradise as there are plenty of beer festivals. If you have the opportunity to move here, take it. I only wish I had moved here sooner.

As others have mentioned, unless you working in south Denver, I wouldn't consider the Springs. And I've been in the Springs since 1972. Where is your work location going to be?

Golden would have been my choice if I had to stay around Denver.
