A 16 oz. has 160 mg of caffeine. My morning coffee has more than that. You really shouldn't have withdrawals. Unless you have a vagina.

Well I wasn't responding to you. To specifically address your OP, I'd bet they aren't related. Some people do experience a flush from the other stuff in energy drinks. You know...all the crap that isn't in coffee.

I have a friend who is late 30's and drank red bull everyday for the past several years. He had 3 heart attacks in one day last Monday. He had no other health problems. The doctor said it was due to all the red bulls and monster drinks. He said Taurine was the main culprit.

I would stop drinking them if I were you.

Woke up and was having trouble breathing and felt weak so I rushed to the ER felt like I was having a panic attack on the way there.

But yeah you are right, I'm glad i got out of that phase. I still drink a few a week to study. This thread is making me want to go straight coffee though

My last job working 70-90 hours a week, I kept a fridge in my office full of that and bottled water.

Sometimes, you just have to go hard.




On a side note: I thought the military drank ripits or Gold Redbull with nicotine?
