Doc suggested my wife (no pics) get the OptiLight treatment for her dry eyes.
Condition known as Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, which is dry eye disease.
Anyone here have experience or knowledge of this treatment?

I have no experience, but I'm following for replies. I have terrible dry eyes and would love effective treatment. I've tried tear duct plugs and they really don't help much.

Tried it for 3 or 4 sessions. Absolutely no change and we stopped. The only thing that has worked is Miebo drops.

I've had a similar treatment, although I'm not sure it was called OptiLight and it was for a different symptom. I had a couple blocked ducts caused by an overgrowth of the mites that live on everyone's eyelids.

The treatment definitely helped clear the blocked ducts, but ultimately didn't 100% clear them up for me. The treatment feels like when you're at the beach, close your eyes and face towards the sun, but more intense. It is def uncomfortable. I'd suggest loading up some music or a podcast on your phones speaker that can help distract from the searing light of the ILP.

Hope this helps.
