Sigh.

No, Halloween is not the devils birthday. A couple of people have already explained why from a biblical standpoint. It’s unfortunate people say stuff like this because it delegitimizes all reasonable objections to participating.

We don’t celebrate it. We try our best to avoid things that are generally dark.

But she gets all up for November 1: All Saints' Day. Holy Day of Obligation and all.

That's kind of like not "celebrating" Christmas Eve.

my overly religious mom would not let me celebrate holloween growing up because she thought it worshiped satan. it's my fav holiday as an adult.


On a side note, one thing i always found itneresting is that we know jesus's real birthday yet no one ever celebrates it (September 29th)

My 2nd grade teacher didn't let us have a Halloween party because of this.
