Thinking about getting this. Want it for my braves tailgating this summer. Just wondering if anyone had one and how it is. The reviews online seem pretty decent but I'd like to know a little more. Seems too good to be true for 119$

I have the job rocker one and it's badass. I use it every time we do something outside. I'm not as familiar with your model, but Ion seems to be pretty awesome.

More heavy duty than your model pictured and a bit better in the elements. It also has phone plug ins and what not in the side to charge your phone.

The Welders at our metal fab shop use one and it can be heard easily above the shop noise and is durable.

I was looking at that one too. Seems like it would be worth it at a tailgate in case a drunk comes by and tips it over or something. And a little easier to carry.

I have one. The only thing I don't like is the fm radio reception is week. Other than that, it is worth every penny. The battery lasts around 18 hours of non stop use, and it sounds amazing for its size. The Bluetooth also has a great range

I have one and I love it. The only time it wasn't loud enough was at the LSU v ALABAMA tailgate we had. I've had mine for three years and I have brought it with me every time we go to someone's river camp or just hanging outside. Make sure you don't over charge it because it will say the battery.

Also brought it with me to waka and hulaween for when we were sitting around the campsite.

I've got the orange job rocker as well for use by the pool. Great so far, loud and good battery life.

Not sure about the newer models, but the older model I use to have was crap. Battery was shot after about a year and it was only usable by plugging in. It wasn't loud enough. Anything past 1/2 volume was distorted.

I spent a little more money and got something a little more heavy duty. Its a Mr dj and requires a plug in though. I only use it for tailgating mainly and it's extremely loud and clear.

Good speaker for the money.

I ball with the Electro-Voice ELX112P 12"

It is absurdly loud.

Edit: Consulted with a friend from Lafayette before purchase, so I know it has all the speaker power I need

My neighbor has one..... Hes about 200' away and when he has it turnt up I can hear it good in my yard. Last about 8-10 hrs. It doesn't have JBL/BOSE quality sound but it sound OK. Definitely worth the $119

Best portable speaker out there IMO. You can't beat it for the price.

Started with an ION for my kid's martial arts tournaments. Quickly moved on. Pyle Pro makes some much louder portables for similar prices, though they are all cheap pieces of crap. Best I've had (and currently use) is a Roland. Much, much better quality sound and build, and more volume. And it runs on AA batteries. Costs around $600, but worth it.

I have an Ion BlockRocker, and I love it. It will run for 100 hours off of a charge, and I love how I can charge my phone. It's perfect for camping, the beach, crawfish boils, parades, etc.
