Looks like the Beatles hair cut. They say crows are the smartest bird. Or maybe ravens, can't remember. Watched a documentary one time and they were talking about crows helping wolves hunt. Crows would spot pray for the wolves. After wolves had their fill, crows would clean up what was left.

She then flew back into her cage and when I got up about 20 minutes later to get another beer from the fridge, she was dead on the bottom of her cage.

Did her head fall off?

Sorry man. Had to do it but sorry for your loss.

Through personal experience, years of data collecting, and even some peer review, I have come to the conclusion that if a woman owns a bird she is, in fact, crazy.

I'm confident enough in this to proclaim it the "Crazy Bird Lady" law.

There is still some debate as to what type of crazy is most prevalent. Whether it is "Fun Crazy" or "Dangerous Crazy" is still up in the air. The most concerning bit from this unresolved data is that some subjects can waffle back and forth between fun or dangerous crazy. Take great care in drawing too many conclusions from these lingering questions, as it has been proven time and again that the most concerning type of crazy is a "Waffler".

I have raised canaries for many years. They need to be handled with care. I was known as the bird man because I use to take birds people no longer wanted. All were small.
Love birds were the loud and extremely messy. Parakeets were very nice. I had many over the years. Cockatiels are great also. Finches are another messy bird. My favorite I owned was the last I owned. It was a small conure parrot. I bought it as a hand fed baby. It followed me around the house. It came shower when I showered every day. ??. Unfortunately he passed when I was out of town for work because of my ex-wife not paying attention that he knocked his water bottle down. It shows how much attention he got the three days I was gone.

My great grandmother had a parrot. It used to say "Hide those beer cans. Here comes the preacher."

I've had a Mexican Redhead for 41 years and others along the way.
They seem to need a lot more attention as they age.
Good luck, just remember if you choose a parrot, they can out live you
like mine might.
