Gut health is off… get some probiotics (culturelle) is a good option, and use daily.

i was prescribed medicine for it many years ago. it went away when i quit taking acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and naproxen. i switched to aspirin and problems went away. i had a friend who lived on acetaminophen and was diagnosed with crohn's. he stopped and it went away

A low carb diet miraculously cures IBS within a couple days. Doesn’t even have to be crazy low - if I stick to under 100g carbs/day, the difference is remarkable.

Bananas are constipating. I drink 8 oz of prune juice every two or three days for bowel movements.

Seems there's anecdotal evidence for IBS but since a side effect is possible diarrhea, I wouldn't think it's helpful for IBS-D.
