My best friends are mostly the guys I went to grade school and high school with.
We all like to hunt, fish, watch LSU sports, drink, mostly the same politics, like mostly the same music and movies.
I'm sure if I knew a dude of another race who shared the same interests, we'd become great friends.
This is the point of this thread. It's not the race, it's the interests and values regardless of race.

Absolutely. It's just more often that not, that these correspond with both ethnic and socioeconomic ties. All the brothers (never seen a Hispanic guy) I've met at jam shows have been cool as frick, and they typically come from well-to-do households. Much more in common with them than a white dude going to an ICP show.
