Last night on one of the stations that plays investigative type shows had a show on about "The Long Island Serial Killer". For some reason, if it was something that was a big story, I missed it, but from what I watched on the show last night, it caught my attention.
I googled and this is the latest return on google, that came up. It was something published three days ago.
LINK
It is also known as the "Craigslist Killer", but here is the wiki page if anyone cares to read more about it.

I'm watching The Killing Season(thanks to a rec on the m/tv board). I think the whole season is about it, though I'm only on episode 3. I did know about it already, though. I think I watched a Dateline or 20/20 deal on it a year or two ago. The series is very well done--and I have vowed to finish it before reading anything about it.

This is the post that we look back on in 3 years once you are captured as the Long Island serial killer and say holy shite, how brazen of him to flaunt this in front of us all and we had no idea it was him all along

It's basically truck drivers and logistical personnel who can pick up drug user, hookers, etc and cross state lines

Are you saying you think all the bodies they have found are the works of multiple killers? I know they mentioned something about a few prostitutes/escorts who went missing from the Atlantic City area, which I know has more traditional hoes (street walkers) so I wouldn't be as surprised if it was found that more than one person were responsible for killing women from that area.

It's way too many for one person.
No way one person has killed hundreds
I think it's a small group but not in an organization. These poor women just don't have many people looking for them except other prostitutes pimps etc
Hopefully this show has opened the eyes of law enforcement and they can coordinate better and get the fbi on these cases sooner when needed
